L’INCONTRO TRA MONDI DIVERSI

Sono gli accostamenti insoliti – del denim con tessuti e fantasie appartenenti ad altri mondi – il leit motiv della prossima collezione Roy Roger’s FW 2017-18 uomo che rinnova l’interpretazione del capo vintage, trasformandolo in un look raffinato-contemporaneo.

Nella Sezione Denim, nuove proposte per le linee Superior, ispirata a modelli e tessuti dall’Archivio storico Roy Roger’s ma reinterpretati in chiave moderna; Deluxe, che ha dettagli tecnici più grintosi; e per la capsule RR’S dove i particolari diventano lo stile.

Superior

Questa stagione i dettagli della linea Superior si ispirano ai disegni floreali dei tessuti-tappeto dall’Archivio Roy Roger’s, acquistati in occasione di viaggi-ricerca in terre straniere. Riprodotti da un’azienda francese specializzata in tessuti jacquard di pregio, le nuove fantasie diventano i dettagli interni ed esterni dei pantaloni. Vengono usate per salpe ricamate in pelle nei jeans mentre, nella nuova proposta di chino – realizzato in un denim speciale, irregolare nelle fibre come i tessuti da lavoro anni ’50 – anche per dettagli come la bottoniera e i ricami delle tasche interne. E nella ricerca di una nuova identità, i pantaloni chino mostrano punte di colore nei travetti, nelle asole, nel piping a  quadri, posto sul fianco sinistro del pantalone; e hanno una maxi etichetta con grafiche coloniali, all’interno della tasca destra.

Deluxe

Il denim incontra sperimentazioni e dettagli tecnici nella linea Deluxe. Cosi i jeans, pur sottoposti a processi classici per lavaggi, rotture e rammendi, hanno dettagli all’avanguardia per termosaldature, laserature e nei tagli essenziali. La palette colore prevede una gamma scura e dark con una predominanza di blue-black che esalta l’incontro tra i due mondi.
RR’S
La capsule RR’S miscela tessuti estranei al mondo denim – come disegni di carte da parati inglesi o tessuti da cravatta provenienti dalla più storica azienda inglese, leader nel settore – con bottoni e fili che riprendono le cromie dei tessuti utilizzati.
I lavaggi sono soft ed eleganti, perfetti da portare con giacca e scarpa classica.
Tra le novità il denim in misto cashmere cimosato, realizzato in Italia in esclusiva per Roy Roger’s.

L’ispirazione militare è uno dei temi guida dei Capospalla sportivi. Cosi il peacot, realizzato jacquard in lana con disegno camouflage, è chiuso da bottoni gommati con il simbolo della marina militare; i parka in cotone, hanno patch termosaldate ispirate alle uniformi della seconda Guerra Mondiale; i nuovi bomber, in raso-nylon bordeaux o nero, mostrano patch militari ricamati in tono.
Si traducono in un linguaggio contemporaneo, le giacche e i cappotti dalla linea classica nei loro tessuti.maglia; i capospalla in pelle, grazie a nuove sperimentazioni di lavorazioni e lavaggi; il barracuda imbottito in ovatta ed le altre proposte con il cappuccio in felpa.

Completa la collezione Roy Roger’s FW 2017-18, la linea di Maglieria made in Toscana con una proposta di modelli classici re-interpretati nei punti e nell’ampia scelta di colori. Hanno dettagli in denim e saranno vendute all’interno di piccolo tubo in color cartone.

THE ENCOUNTER OF DIVERSE WORLDS

Original combinations of denim with fabrics and prints belonging to different worlds are the leitmotif of the Roy Roger’s men’s FW 2017.18 collection, restyling the interpretation of the vintage garment, transforming it into a sophisticated-contemporary look.

The Denim section features new proposals for the Superior ranges, inspired by models and fabrics from the Roy Roger’s Historic Archives reinterpreted in a modern key; for the Deluxe showcasing the gutsiest technical details, and for the RR’S, where it is the details that make the style.

Superior
This season the details of the Superior range are inspired by the floral designs of the carpet-fabrics from the Roy Roger’s Archives, purchased during research missions in foreign countries.
Reproduced by a French company specialised in precious Jacquard fabrics, the new prints become the internal and external details of the pants.
In the jeans they may be in the leather labels; in the new chinos – made from a special irregular-yarn denim like the workwear fabrics of the 1950s – they are used for the button flap and the embroideries of the inside chambray pockets. In quest of a new identity, the chino pants reveal glimpses of colour in the end stitches of the buttonholes and in the checked piping on the left hand side of the pants; they also have an extra-large label with colonial graphics inside the right pocket.
Deluxe
Denim encounters experimentation and technical details in the Deluxe range. Thus, although the washes, rips and darns are classic, the jeans also feature avant-garde touches in the heat-sealing and laser treatments and the essential cuts. The range of the colour palette is dark with a predominance of blue-black setting off the encounter of the two worlds.
RR’S
The RR’S capsule meshes fabrics extraneous to the world of denim – such as the designs of English wallpaper or tie fabrics from the very oldest English manufacturer, a market leader – with buttons and threads that echo the colours of the fabrics used. The washes are soft and elegant, perfect for wearing with jackets and classic shoes.
One of the novelties is the selvedge denim in mixed cashmere, made in Italy exclusively for Roy Roger’s.

Military inspiration is one of the guiding themes of the casual Outerwear range. So we have the reefer jacket in camouflage design Jacquard trimmed with rubberised buttons bearing the symbol of the Navy; the cotton parkas have heat-sealed patches inspired by the uniforms of the Second World War; the new bomber jackets in claret or black nylon satin have military patches with self-shade embroidery.
The coats and jackets of the classic range are translated into a contemporary language through the use of knit fabrics, and the leather outerwear through the experimentation of new processes and washes, in addition to the cotton-padded Baracuta jacket and the other proposals with plush hoods.

The Roy Roger’s FW 17.18 collection is rounded off by the range of Made in Tuscany Knitwear proposing classical models restyled in terms of the stitches used and the wide choice of colours. They feature details in denim and will be sold packed inside small cardboard-coloured tubes.
